Hilary Duff - Metamorphosis [Album Review]
Here is my review for Hilary's Debut Album: Metamorphosis
"So Yesterday" (Lauren Christy, Scott Spock, Graham Edwards, Charlie Midnight) – 3:35
7.5/10
Even tho it was overplayed it's still the best break-up song.
"Come Clean" (Kara DioGuardi, John Shanks) – 3:34
11/10
One of the best tracks on the album, you must listen to it in the CHipmunk version, way better lol
"Workin' It Out" (Midnight, C. Pettus, M. Swersky) – 3:16
7.5/10
Hey Hey, I'm Not giving up no, Vocals are a little weak.
"Little Voice" (DioGuardi, P. Berger) – 3:03
7/10
A Little to Rock for me
"Where Did I Go Right?" (Christy, Spock, Edwards, Midnight) – 3:51
10/10
One of few balads Hilary has ever done, and is the best one.
"Anywhere But Here" (Jim Marr, Wendy Page, Bennett) – 3:32
8/10
A Nice Summer Song
"The Math" (Christy, Spock, Edwards, Midnight) – 3:19
9.5/10
I would of gave it 10/10 but her voice was altered way too much
"Love Just Is" (Marr, Page, Midnight) – 4:02
6.5/10
I believe this song could be better
"Sweet Sixteen" (Haylie Duff, Toran Caudell) – 3:09
9/10
Another nice summer jam
"Party Up" (Meredith Brooks, T. Rhodes, A. George) – 3:51
7/10
A Party Track
"Metamorphosis" (Hilary Duff, Midnight, Bennett, Andre Recke) – 3:29
8.5/10
Very Techno, but her voice was modified way to much on this song again
"Inner Strength" (Haylie Duff) – 1:34
8/10
Another nice short ballad
Bonus tracks
"Why Not" (Midnight, Matthew Gerrard) — 3:01 (all editions)
8/10
Altho this song could of been cut off, it was very popular at the time of the release of the album
"Girl Can Rock" (Midnight, Weston) – 3:05 (Mexico, UK, Target)
7/10
So Rock, Her voice doesn't quite have the rocker sound to it.
"A Day in the Sun" (Japan)
10/10
I Wish this was on the album :(
TOTAL" 124.5/150 = 83%
