The Boys of Panic at the Disco are back and getting ready to release their new sophomore studio album "Pretty. Odd." due out March 25th!! After the success of their debut "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" many fans have been awaiting their return. So I'm excited to share the first single off the new album which the boys premiered on their myspace. "Nine In The Afternoon" is a quirky fun uptempo track with a cacthy chours. The video was shot back in late December and should premiere early Feburary or sooner.

As you all know Missy Elliot has a new single out titled "Ching-A-Ling". This is going to be included on the "Step 2: The Streets" soundtrack, due in February 5th, and also it'll be the official lead single from Missy's new studio album due in May 2008. The rapper has recently shot the music video for ""Ching-A-Ling" with director Dave Meyers (who has worked number of times with Missy in other vids). The vid is rumored to be in 3-D! and it'll premiere in the coming weeks.

Pop star Britney Spears will release the T-Pain-produced track "Hot As Ice" as the 3rd single from "Blackout". Britney revealed the news first to X17Online's photogs over the weekend. She headed on Sunday night to the Millenium Dance Studio to prepare the choreography for the upcoming videoshoot! And now Robert Baker, the owner of the dance complex also confirms the news to People.com:


"She is working on the choreography for her song 'Hot as Ice,'" Baker said, "She rehearsed an amazing routine with a chair."


There are soo many hot songs on Britney's album that deserve to become a single but you know how life is so not everyone will have that opportunity. Personally, my faves to be singles are: "Hot As Ice", "Radar" and "Break The Ice". Those are on my high priority list lol. And if all three (2 now) become singles then i'd like to see "Heaven on Earth" and "Toy Solider" as the next ones. So Britney would be having like 7 singles from "Blackout" xD. Anyways, hopefully she releases atleast a couple more!

Pretty. Odd. Album Cover?

"Later on in January 21, the website's jigsaw puzzle updated so when the fourth, and the last puzzle piece is clicked, the finished product can be seen. And when you click on the whole puzzle it self, the puzzle line will fade away, leaving only the clean version of the album cover left. It is worth noting that the corners of the picture on the right hand side have been rounded so to appear like a book, going with the possible "fairy tale theme" of the album. Also the source code was changed to say; "Oh, hello".

However, there has been speculation to whether the picture in the puzzle is actually the album cover or not. When the "Medicine Man" posted one of the pieces, the link was: "Isn’t it a shame when you find a piece to the wrong puzzle?", which suggests that, perhaps, the picture is something other than the cover art. More evidence to support this is the fact that the band's name does not appear on the picture. One suggestion of what the picture could be is a promotional poster and an other suggestion is that it is the cover for the Pretty. Odd. collector's set box. "

It will be released March 25, 2008.

Vanessa Hudgens: Album News

Vanessa looking into recording 20 songs. As of last night, she has recorded 16. She hopes to finish recording main vocals of all 20 by end of this coming week - end of this month, the latest. The plan is to choose 12 tracks (out of the 20) for her album, and 3 or 4 tracks as bonuses. The remaining tracks could possibly be use as re-release or saved for another album.

Hollywood Records is really excited about all the buzz that this album has been getting at this early stage. So they are playing with the possibility of releasing it as early as April. Of course Vanessa's schedule would come to play since she got Will to film until about March and production of HSM3 is currently scheduled to start on April 21st. I’m sure Hollywood Records would like her to have some time to push the album. A good indicator of this earlier release will be how early radio stations will get her first single. So keep an “ear” out for that.

Shakira - Hay Amores [Music Video!]

As you may know Colombian star Shakira recorded two new tracks, "La Despedida" and "Hay Amores", for the soundtrack of the movie "Love in the Time of Cholera", based on the novel of the same name by Gabriel Garcia Márquez. "Despedida" was the first song chosen to promote the movie and it was even nominated for a Golden Globe Award for "Best Original Song" but sadly it lost. Now the other song "Hay Amores" has been released to promote also the film, and Shakira shot a music video for it that premiered last night on Univision's show "Primer Impacto". High School Musical 3: Senior Year Info & Song List

It's official! Small-screen stars ZAC EFRON, VANESSA HUDGENS, ASHLEY TISDALE, LUCAS GRABEEL, CORBIN BLEU and MONIQUE COLEMAN are all on-board for Walt Disney Pictures' upcoming feature film, 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year,' the studio announced today.

The latest on the script is that high school seniors Troy (Zac) and Gabriella (Vanessa) will face the prospect of being separated from one another as they head off in different directions to college. Joined by the rest of the Wildcats, they stage an elaborate spring musical reflecting their experiences, hopes and fears about their future.

The big-screen musical is expected to start shooting shortly and is being directed once again by KENNY ORTEGA from a script by "HSM" writer PETER BARSOCCHINI.

NEW Panic At The Disco Picture

Above is the cover for the single "Nine In The Afternoon" by Panic At The Disco.

According to an ad the concept of the video for the song is "a series of bizarre yet fundamentally recognizable events with the band members". The video contains "40 extras total and people will be featured as there are different periods, looks, wardrobe and hair changes". In an MTV interview, it is stated that in the video "there are gratuitous fake mustaches involved and a rather bizarre parade being led by the guys in Panic, who are dressed in what could only be described as 'Sgt. Pepper's-meets-ice-fishing' attire (lots of epaulets and thermal underwear). Each of them also wears a sash printed with the phrase 'Pretty Odd'." The video was directed by Shane Drake, who worked on "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" and "But It's Better If You Do".[4] "Nine in the Afternoon" will be released to radio on January 29.

Nelly Teams Up With Fergie For New Single!

Rapper Nelly was set to release his 5th album "Brass Knuckles" on November 13th, 2007 until it was announced its delay until the first quarter of 2008. Seems like Nelly expected a better reception for his first single "Wadsyaname", so maybe that was the reason for delay. Now in 2008, thanks to Allaccess.com we can confirm that Nelly will be releasing a brand new single that is titled "Party People" and will feature... Fergie! I don't think that this track was already recorded for the Nov.2007 release, it was probably recorded after the pushed back thing. Anyway, i can't wait to hear it! It will go for adds on February 19th but i'm sure we'll have it before that.

Cassie Reveals Release Date

Cassie is ready to make her comeback soon as I previously posted, the album release date was revealed to be on May 20th of this year. Cassie has been working on what she calls a more mature and grown album & the album features producers such as: Ryan Leslie, Sean C & LV, Eric Hudson, Seven, Mario Winans, and Bryan-Michael Cox; rumoured collaborations fall among Kanye West who Cassie appeared on his video “Stronger” and Pharrell Williams. The 1st single has not been chosen yet but nominations fall among “My House”, “Thirsty”, and “Push it”. I’m hoping that Cassie will release something similar to her hit & first single “Me & U” which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and No. 3 on the Hot 100. It has also sold 989,000 digital downloads, but sadly her self titled album sold 319,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

Actress/Pop singer Lindsay Lohan has been spotted by X17Online.com's photogs walking into a shoot for a music video yesterday - January 8th. Wow! Looks like we'll be listening to Lindsay's new material pretty soon.

· She started to work on her 3rd studio album last year. In December she was spotted with music producer J.R Rotem (Rihanna's "SOS", Ashley Tisdale's "He Said, She Said"), so we have one confirmed producer. Also, in an interview last year she said she would love to work with Pharrell and Timbaland. I really liked Lindsay's first album, the second one was okay - there were only a couple of tracks i liked - and well now i'm interesting to listen to her music again, she said she'll be going for a new sound, we know now it'll be more urban, so i'm looking foward to check it out.

Here's the music video for the new Kelly Rowland single titled "Daylight" featuring Gym Class Heroes's Travis McCoy. The videoclip premiered just a couple hours ago on French tv show "Vivement Dimanche" on channel France 2. Today's show was a special program about the new Asterix movie titled "Asterix aux Jeux Olympiques" and Kelly herself was a guest on the show. "Daylight" is featured on the movie's soundtrack as well it will be on Kelly's upcoming re-release of her sophomore solo album titled "Ms. Kelly", which is due in stores later this year. Enjoy

High School Musical 3

With the first two "High School Musical" productions proving to be big hits, a state board is putting out a $2 million incentive to make sure a third installment also is shot in Utah.
Meeting in Price, the Governor's Office of Economic Development Board approved several economic development incentives Friday, including the package for High School Musical 3 Productions Inc.

If the film company selects Utah, it would receive the state's biggest production incentive ever. An offer of $263,000 was approved for "High School Musical" and another for $500,000 was earmarked for the sequel.

According to board documents, the film's budget is $13.3 million, and 99 percent of that would be spent in Utah.

The production would involve 190 crew positions at $1,875 per week; plus $58,498 for stunt performers; $15,000 for Utah casting directors; and $472,640 for about 4,000 Utah extras.

The production would take place over 41 days, starting April 21.

Popularity of both "High School Musical" films has prompted people from across the country to visit East High School to see where the films were made.

To capitalize further on that fame, East High students put on several sold-out performances of the "High School Musical" play as their fall musical. The production's popularity was expected to gross more than $25,000 for the school. The school's popularity rose sharply following the second film's release to the public. School leaders estimated over the summer 40 to 50 people would wander the building to see areas where the movies had been filmed.The board also approved a rebate incentive of up to $581,459 for Bronco Pictures LLC to shoot "Gentlemen Broncos." The film's total budget is nearly $10 million, and about $9 million would be spent in Utah.

The 50-day production schedule calls for shooting to start March 3. The film will be distributed by Fox Searchlight Pictures. Producers Jared Hess and John J. Kelly have worked on "Napoleon Dynamite," "The World's Fastest Indian," "Nacho Libre," "Into the Wild" and "The Black Dahlia."

Another incentive approved Friday was for Barnes Bullets Inc., which would get up to $200,000 to help offset the costs of moving its operations from Lindon to Mona, retaining 53 jobs and creating 42. Half the incentive would be granted upon the completion of a new building and the start-up of manufacturing at the new site, and half would be granted upon creating 40 jobs at $25,000 per job.

The company would be required to pay 40 percent above the Juab County median wage. Board documents indicate the pay for new jobs actually would be 60 percent over the county median and the retained jobs would be 69 percent above the median. The state incentive is subject to a local incentive of at least $100,000 in infrastructure improvements and access to $350,000 in revolving loan fund availability at lower-than-market rates.

Barnes Bullets had sought a $900,000 state incentive. Utah is competing against South Dakota and possibly Wyoming and Idaho, board documents show.

The board also approved a change in an incentive approved in April. Malnove Inc. of Utah was approved for a tax rebate of up to $286,000 for a relocation and expansion. The change would allow the company to remain at the Freeport Center in Davis County or move to Ogden, and adjusts the average salary requirement to at least 50 percent above the Weber County median or 40 percent above the Davis County median.

The project would retain 104 employees and create 63 new jobs. Reno and Las Vegas, Nev., and Stockton, Calif., also are competing to land the expanded operations.

Britney's Bi-Polar simply didn't take her meds

Life & Style is reporting that early police reports about Britney being under the influence when being taken to Cedars Sinai are false - all tests came back negative!

Her blood test just came back, and, thank God, it was clean. There are no traces of drugs or alcohol of any kind, a source close to Britney's family told the mag.

Could Britney's clean slate lend credibility to her claim that she missed her hourly meds? After all, if she'd taken her anti-anxiety pills as scheduled, they'd show up in the test, right?

Britney Wheeled Out Of Home On A Gurney!

Britney Spears was just wheeled out of her home on a gurney by paramedics! We're told Britney is being taken to a local hospital on a "medical hold" -- essentially a mental evaluation. Cops found her earlier this evening at her home under the influence of an "unknown substance."

Cops were called to the popnightmare's home in Beverly Hills this evening after she reportedly refused to return custody of her two kids back over to their father's bodyguard. Oh the insanity of it all!

Fergie is releasing yet another single from her multi-platinum selling album 'The Dutchess' and the last and final single will be the ballad 'Finally'. The song is decent and shows off her vocal abilities which she doesn't always show, but I think that songs like 'All That I Got' and 'Pick It Up' are better choices. This song will end her string of hits and will not chart well, but it's still something and I'm sure there will be a video filmed soon as well.
