Lindsay Lohan is heading in a different musical direction with her next album. The party girl's new tracks will have a hip-hop influence due to a rumoured collab with Snoop Dogg. Timbaland and Pharrell are also said to be producing some of LiLo's songs for the disc which will reportedly be released on Motown Records.

Coldplay To Release Free Single

Coldplay have announced that their new single “Violet Hill” will be available as a free download from their website starting tomorrow. The guys will also play two free concerts this summer. The gigs will take place in London on June 16th and New York on June 23. Their new album is due out on June 17th.

Miley Embarrassed About Photos

Miley Cyrus is apologizing for appearing in some racy photographs. The 15-year-old released a statement to People Magazine saying she’s embarrassed about the photos that are in an upcoming Vanity Fair article. The magazine enlisted famed photographer Annie Leibovitz to do the shoot and Miley appears to be topless with a blanket covering her. Cyrus says she thought the pics would be artistic and never intended to disappoint anyone.

1. It's been decided that the version of "Reach Out" with "The Prophet" will be released as the original version of the song. (Meaning the tour version without "The Prophet" won't be released & the version with "The Prophet" will not be labeled as a remix.) It will be sent to the Pop, Rhythmic & Urban radio stations.
2. The video will also feature "The Prophet."
3. Hollywood Records is still debating on the best time to release the single. On one hand they want to release it before July & promote it throughout the summer. On the other, they're wondering if it'd be better to release the track around the time that "Greta" comes out.
6.The concept of the video for "Reach Out" is pretty much chosen, it's just all up to when they want to film it & release the video.

4. Is it true that Hilary will be on Timbaland's "Shock Value 2?"
A: Not at all. They have not collaborated.
5. How did the whole "Reach Out" & "The Prophet" collaboration come about?
A: Hilary recorded the song to premiere on tour back in July 2007. It was originally going to be only her on the track. Ryan Tedder, the producer of the song thought that the song would benefit with a rapper on it. He asked his good friend, "The Prophet" if he'd like to contribute to the song. After discussing the collaboration with the label, Ryan got permission for the rap.
"The Prophet" was very thankful for the opportunity & is eagerly anticipating the release of the single.

High School Musical 4? Yes! The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed with Disney Channel Worldwide president Rich Ross that a fourth installment is in the process of being written. However, he hints at the fact that we may see new faces take on lead roles as all of the original six might not be back for a made for TV movie.

sam889988 got confirmation from Richard earlier today, & just two hours ago, I finished talking to the HR source. He said that "Reach Out" will be the next single & will be released no later than late June. A video is in the works, & the song should be going for adds in June as well.

He said this will be the "heater" or "preview" single from her next album, which she will begin recording very soon...

BTW - I know there will be non-believers of my source, but keep in mind that this was also confirmed by Richard Vission, who produced 5 tracks off of "Dignity" & co-wrote 3 of them. He had also already finished remixing "Reach Out" earlier this year.

Promos were done earlier this year as well, so I guess they didn't want to lose the money & just postponed it until the summer.

He said that "Happy" will be Hilary's 3rd and final single of Dignity.
He said it was time to slow things down a bit. The video will be shot in late April.
Directors are already sending in ideas. It needs an emotion video for an emotional song. Expect to see a dramatic vid with a strong story line. No Work All Play was almost it but replaced. Gypsy Woman was to much like stranger.

1. If they want to "continue" the story line they've been fallowing then they will release Gypsy Woman BUT Gypsy Woman was already slated for release and had the entire music video planned out but then it was canceled so I don't think it would be GW, but if they are looking for a major hit then release GW.

2. If they want a AWESOME mainstream radio then release NWAP, I can deff hear these songs being played on radio especially the urban ones. I can picture an AWESOME music video for this song.

3. If they want to attract more kids then they will release Happy.

For all of the Vanessa Hudgens fans, Vanessa is currently shooting her movie Will, plus right after that High School Musical 3 will begin shooting.

Vanessa will be singing on the HSM 3 soundtrack this fall, plus after her two movies, Vanessa will get back into the studio to fully release her sophomore album.

The album is expected to be released Fall 2008.
